The Canal du Midi is 20 km away from the hotel. It is a 240-km long canal in the south of France. The canal connects the Garonne River to the Étang de Thau on the Mediterranean. It runs from the city of Toulouse down to the Mediterranean port of Sète. It is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The Cathar castles (50 km away), designate the series of fortresses built by the French king on the southern frontier of his lands at the end of the Albigensian Crusade. You will also find numerous vineyards in the surrounding area.
